I work for the Government of Alberta in 2 contrasting buildings. One is the 105 year old Legislature building while the other is a mix of brand new and art deco style. We have a large living wall and about 14 roof gardens in the modern building; in the Legislature the piece de resistance are 5 83year old kentia palm trees.
Before this, I spent two years working for Greenjeans Interiorscape in Edmonton as warehouse manager and installation technician. My horticultural career previous to these jobs was in England, where I was the Head Gardener on a large estate. Particularly enjoyable was growing fruit and vegetables in a walled garden.
